“Together can never be close enough for me
To feel like I am close enough to you
You wear white and I’ll wear out the words “I love you”
And you’re beautiful
Marry me
Today and every day”
— Train
It was a windy day, a really windy day; but none of that mattered because today was the day Courtney and Brendan were getting married. Courtney and Brendan chose to get married in the splendor of falls colours, they weren’t planning on the wind. The unexpected happens on wedding days and inextricably gets linked to our day. I like to think that when the wind whips through Courtney and Brendan’s lives it will not be seen as an annoyance rather a reminder of a magical day.
I was determined to find a special location for Courtney, and Brendan’s first look, and after searching around the perfect spot splendid with the colours of fall, and the most enchanting light presented itself. C+B first look was peaceful, and calm. Fall trees nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains served as backdrop for the ceremony. The wedding day was highlighted by what I feel is most to the newly weds; a celebration of love surrounded by family and friends. I wish you both all the happiness in your lives together.
